There were 1,983,467 US Military Retirees as of FY 2007. Over 39,557 US Military Retirees reside in nearly 150 countries and territories. For example, there are 2 retirees in Kyrgystan, 1 in Mongolia, 4 in the Pitcairn Islands, 280 in Saudi Arabia, 1 in Uganda, 2 in Ukraine, 1 in the Uzbekistan, 2 in Viet Nam and 2 in Yemen. America has over 28 million military veterans.
